The exciting difference between the female and male orgasm curve

It's no secret that women's and men's orgasm timing ticks very differently. And we'd like to explain this to you in more detail with the 4 stages of the sexual response cycle.

Arousal Phase: This phase can last from minutes to hours and is timed very differently for women and men. Again, the effects on the genitals are more similar than you think: both swell and pulse incl. blood pressure increase! Everything prepares for coitus.

This could be the perfect intimate massage ...

Plateau phase: The muscles continue to tense. Women experience a widening of the vagina and moistening of the vagina, as long as there is no lack of lubrication. Problems with lubrication are nothing unusual, however, and can be perfectly compensated for with a lube such as BIOglide.

Orgasm phase: Here all the tension that has developed in the first two phases is discharged. The orgasm unfortunately presupposes the end of sexual pleasure. At least for the first time for men, for women it is in principle no problem to come again!

Regression phase: This is where the difference between men and women comes into play! While it is now very difficult for men to achieve a new erection and have an orgasm – depending on age, this can take between minutes and hours – so women can have repeated orgasms in a very short time.

Conclusion on orgasm:

Women need about 25 minutes, men just under 5 minutes from first arousal to orgasm.

Men actually get going much faster. On the other hand, their arousal subsides again quickly after orgasm. It is also true that it usually takes longer for women to reach orgasm, the arousal then lasts even longer and there are even "intermediate highs" on the way to climax.

So our tip for men is to make foreplay more intense and don't stop immediately after climax.
